一、內容簡介
本翻譯實踐報告源文本《當代雕塑創作實踐》(第六章至第十一章)為四川省語言服務基地所承擔的四川美術學院翻譯項目,該項目全稱為“重慶市美術專業學位研究生教學案例庫建設項目”。全文共計55124字,共24個章節,分配給四名學生進行分工翻譯。譯者分到的章節為第六至十一章,共計15482字,內容主要包括:第六章“找藝人案例說明”,第七章“馮豆花美術館教學案例”使用說明,第八章“警察上崗案例教學”,第九章“雕塑尋主·緣來是你”案例教學使用說明,第十章“?”案例教學使用說明,以及第十一章“螞蟻森林”案例教學使用說明。
源文本的創作基于民間實踐,涉及藝術創作,因此措辭真實自然,大量使用四字成語,有的詞句具有一定文學味道。如“趕場”、“手藝活”、“司空見慣”、“卯榫”、“令狐大俠”、“歇歇腳”、“石敢當”、“七竅流血”以及“內傷深重”等。考慮到文本表現具有一定藝術性,并且所涉及的雕塑創作既包含實踐又反映文化,帶有中國元素的符號標簽,因此譯者在翻譯時也有意將其中所承載的文化元素完整呈現。于是,譯者選擇了夏延德翻譯補償理論來指導本次翻譯實踐。
二、譯文修改
例1.本案例通過民間對“藝人”的定義,將擁有一定手藝特長的人作為創作主體展開尋找,項目本身不在于做成一件具體的作品,而是通過“找”的過程,將作品展開和實施。

三、研討反思
本次研討會上對譯者譯文的語法、結構、用詞等方面進行了討論。首先,有的句子存在邏輯表達不清、信息冗余、主語錯誤、用詞不當以及懸垂修飾語等問題。會后學生根據老師的建議進行了修改,在翻譯時要注重譯文的邏輯和連貫性,用詞的搭配也要謹慎。其次,還需要注意,由于文本中有一定的文化負載詞,有的內容最好通過使用尾注的方式讓其表達地更加清楚。
源文本題材涉及雕塑專業,對于分析案例的選擇需要更加謹慎,要選擇語句通順且具有代表性的內容進行案例分析。最后基于以上反思,譯者將繼續改進,不斷提升自己的翻譯能力,讓譯文更加流暢。
