一、內容簡介:
《施工方法說明》(水電工程)全書共12個章節,總字數為48,600字,共十二節內容,其主要內容是介紹公司為取得工程項目所做出的施工方案說明,譯者翻譯的第七章,共計15,576字。譯者翻譯的部分主要是關于排水閘和泄洪閘的施工介紹說明,其中介紹了工程概況、施工部署及進度計劃安排、為順利施工做的一系列準備以及主要施工方法。工程概況介紹了施工主體的結構設計特點、施工條件及施工難點,是對一個工程項目全面而簡潔描述,為施工參與人員和讀者提供一個關于項目基本情況和主要特點的概覽。
二、譯文修改:
例1
ST:先深后淺,先中部后兩邊,先底部后上部,先閘室、消力池后鋪蓋、護坦。井點降水、閘塘開挖同時進行。

三、研討反思:
通過此次研討我學習到對于科技文本的翻譯,更應該注意用詞的準確性和規范性,詞匯的翻譯是最基本的翻譯,如果專業術語出現錯誤,譯文的意思就會與源文本截然不同。對于譯文信息重復的地方翻譯前應先梳理漢語,通過合并、重塑、簡化或使用指示代詞等方式,在保持信息一致性的同時避免冗余。并且科技文本的翻譯應采用規范性的科學文本表達風格,避免口語話和不客觀的用詞,例如最開始譯文出現的“then” “what’s more”。此外,本人在翻譯過程中也存在對源文本理解出現偏差的情況,擅自將譯文前后并列,改變了原文意思,譯者在后續撰寫過程中將搜索較為權威的搜索引擎、學術網站,對源文本所涉及到的專業知識進行查漏補缺,同時加強審核校對,從語法正確性、拼寫標點規范、術語統一、風格連貫性等多層面細致檢查譯文,糾正初稿中的低級錯誤,優化表達生硬、邏輯不清之處,對存疑譯文反復斟酌修改。
