一、文本內容
本次報告所翻譯的源語文本取自成都理工大學地球科學學院徐旃章教授與西南石油大學地球科學與技術學院方乙副教授牽頭合著的書籍《滇西南騰沖地區幔源成礦系列時空演化與空間定位規律性》。全書共3個章節，總字數為63320字。第一章主要講述騰沖地區幔源成礦系列區域成礦地質特征，第二章為全書的 重點，描述了騰沖地區幔源成礦系列成巖—成礦特征與規律，第三章為結語。本 次翻譯實踐報告主要以第二章為源語文本。
二、文本特點
《滇西南騰沖地區幔源成礦系列時空演化與空間定位規律性》屬于地質專著，具有很強的專業性，同時涉及多學科知識。
在詞匯層面，該文本除了含有大量純專業術語，如：“地質學(geology)”、“地層學”等，還包括了許多半專業術語和跨學科術語，如：“氣液熱流體(gas-liquid geothermal fluid)”和“航磁測量(aeromagnetic survey)”等。
在句子層面，原文多以流水句為主，句段與句段之間結構松散，不借助顯性關聯詞語，多個主語或隱或現，并常出現跨句段指認，短語和小句共現頻繁。此外，原文中還存在大量無標記的被動句，為文本翻譯帶來的一定的困難。
在篇章層面，原文以中心思想、連貫性和一致性為三要素，主要采用說明性、介紹性的寫作風格，內容客觀具體。
三、翻譯理論
語義翻譯是英國翻譯理論家Peter Newmark提出的兩種翻譯理論之一，其目的是在目的語語言結構和語義許可的范圍內，把原作者在原文中表達的意思準確地再現出來。該理論重視的是原文的形式和原作者的原意，而不是目的語語境及其表達方式，更不是要把譯文變為目的語文化情境中之物。
譯文修改：
例1：
ST:（2）鐵礦（Fe3O4）體頂部礦化帶，在表生風化淋濾條件下，由上而下，由于氧逸度(FO2)的變化，由Fe3+→Fe3++Fe2+→Fe2+的垂向變化，導致了原生鐵礦化體的顏色和類型也相應由紅鐵礦化→紅褐色鐵礦化→褐色和深褐色鐵礦化，向下則逐漸過渡為原生斑點狀、網脈狀、團塊狀礦石帶（圖2-39），規律清晰，是原生鐵礦（Fe3O4）體空間定位的重要信息與標志。

As moving downward, there is a gradual transition to primary spot-like, vein-like, and massive ore zones (Figure 2-39),exhibitinga clear pattern, which serves as important information and indication for spatial-orientation of the primary iron ore (Fe3O4) body.

ST:地幔柱是地幔巖漿活動的主要構造型式，是包容著巨大物質流和能量流的地幔柱體，以大規模幔源巖漿活動為特征，成礦作用通常也以幔源巖漿礦床為主，成礦元素包括Cu、Ni、PGE、Fe、Ti、V、Cr等，可形成具有巨大資源價值的Cu-Ni-PGE礦床、V-Ti磁鐵礦床、鉻鐵礦床、金剛石礦床等。
TT1:The mantle plume is the primary tectonic type of mantle magmatism, which contains huge material flow and energy flow and is characterized by large-scale mantle-derived magmatism.The metallogenesis generally forms mantle-derived magmatic mineral deposits, which include Cu-Ni-PGE deposits, V-Ti magnetite deposits, chromite deposits and diamond deposits with great resource value, and ore-forming elements including Cu, Ni, PGE, Fe, Ti, V, Cr, etc.

研討反思：
通過此次翻譯研討，讓我對此次的翻譯實踐有了新的認識：
第一，翻譯不是簡單的字字對應或無語法錯誤。在進行具體翻譯時應該探究隱藏在原文中的真實含義，理解作者的真實意圖，準確傳達原文信息。
第二，對于翻譯方式的選擇應根據原文的文體特征，靈活運用具體的翻譯方法，否則譯文只會詞不達意。
第三，對于專業性強的原語文本，對其中的專業表達要透徹理解，必要時對其進行充分的解釋說明，否則會使譯文晦澀難懂。
