4月13日，西南石油大學翻譯研究暨MTI教育中心組織并開展了第八場2018級畢業翻譯研討會。李渝、龍仕文、胥瑾、魏夏春以及余鴻老師出席了本次研討會。研討會于晚上七點準時開始。
研討會開始，由主講人鄒芳對將今晚討論的內容進行了簡單介紹，主要對《施工組織設計》翻譯中存在的問題進行探討。
討論熱烈進行，各位老師都做出了精彩的發言。魏老師提到在案例選取時必須首先弄懂技巧的定義，龍老師表示案例分析時應先簡單介紹所用的理論，實現理論與案例的緊密結合，胥老師提出翻譯碩士畢業論文不必過長與過短，8000字左右為宜。在案例翻譯探討過程中，諸位老師展開熱烈探頭，提出許多建議。根據老師們的建議，筆者對譯文進行修改，以下簡舉三例：
ST:設置在吊頂內嵌入喇叭，電源線用端子與盒內導線連接好，用手托著喇叭使其與頂棚貼緊，用螺絲將喇叭固定在吊頂支架板上。
TT1: When installing the speaker in the ceiling, firstly connect the power cords with the wire in the box with the terminal, then hold the speaker with the hand to make it close to the ceiling, and finally fix the speaker on the ceiling bracket board with screws.
TT2：When installing the speaker, firstly, connect the power cord and the wire in box with the terminal, then hold it fast onto ceiling so as to fix the speaker to the ceiling bracket board with screws.
ST:用戶端用光功儀表規定波長進行測試
TT1: The user end shall be tested with optical power meter with specified wave length
TT2: The test shall be conducted at the user port with optical power meter at specified wave length
ST:纜線的布放應順直，不得有扭絞、打圈、擠壓和損傷現象。
TT1: Cable shall be laid in straight without twisting, circling, squeezing or damage.
TT2: Cable shall be laid in straight line without being twisted, circled, squeezed or damaged.
此次活動，收獲頗豐，在探討聲中，此次活動步入尾聲，大家留影紀念。
