內容簡介:
本次翻譯實踐報告的翻譯材料選自國家出版基金項目——《大國重器·中國超級水電工程·糯扎渡卷》之《生態環境工程創新技術》分冊。本書由中國水利水電出版社于2021年出版,是一部介紹糯扎渡水電站工程中有關生態環境保護的高水平科研工程專著,以期為我國綠色水電和可持續水電的研究,以及水電水利行業環境保護設計水平的提高,提供有益的參考和借鑒。
本書共10章,書籍的翻譯工作由譯者與同組譯員合作完成,譯者負責部分為2.1-3.5.3,源文本共計15,230余字,皆屬于中文原版材料。該部分重點論述了疊梁門分層取水工程和魚類增殖放流工程。第二章主要探討如何減緩糯扎渡水電站對河流水溫的影響,從而減少對河道內魚類的影響;而第三章則聚焦于人工增殖放流這一彌補因水電水利工程建設導致魚類資源量下降的一種有效措施。疊梁門分層取水、人工增殖放流、過魚設施等保護措施對減緩水電開發對魚類造成的不利影響有著重要的意義,實現了水電開發與生態環境保護相得益彰。

例2:
ST: 進水塔采用岸塔式,正向進水,引水道中心間距25m,進口前緣寬度225m。進水塔順水流向長度為31.45m,依次布置攔污柵、檢修閘門、事故閘門和通氣孔。進水塔建基高程為733.00m,底板高程為736.00m。
TT1: The intake tower is of shore tower type with positive power intake, the center distance of the intake channel is 25m, and the width of the intake leading edge is 225m. The length of the inflow direction of the intake tower is 31.45 m, and the trash rack, maintenance gate, accident gate and ventilation hole are arranged successively. The base elevation of the intake tower is 733.00m, and the elevation of the bottom plate is 736.00m.
TT2: The intake tower adopts the shore intake tower with 25m of the center distance of the intake channel and 225m of the width of the intake leading edge, and the inflow direction is consistent with the direction of the intake pool. The length of the inflow direction of the intake tower is 31.45m, and the trash rack, maintenance gate, accident gate and ventilation hole are arranged successively. The base elevation of the intake tower is 733.00m, and the elevation of the bottom plate is 736.00m.
例3:
ST: 珍稀魚類增殖放流站最終選址位于壩址下游瀾滄江左岸一級支流大中河畔的業主營地內,便于業主管理和環保部門監督檢查,已建成有連接業主營地的對外交通道路,交通便利。
TT1: The final site of the rare fish proliferation and releasing station is located in the owner’s camp on the bank of the Dazhong River, a first-level tributary of the Lancang River left bank, downstream watershed of the dam site where the external conveniently traffic road connecting the owner’s camp has been built, which is convenient for the owner’s management as well as the supervision and inspection by the environmental protection department.
TT2: The final site of the rare fish proliferation and releasing station is located in the owner’s camp on the bank of the Dazhong River, a first-level tributary of the Lancang River left bank, downstream watershed of the dam site where a convenient external traffic road connecting the owner’s camp has been built, favoring the owner’s management and the supervision and inspection by the environmental protection department.
研討反思:
通過此次翻譯研討會,對水電類中文文本的英譯有了新的認知,同時也認識到了自己需要提升之處。
首先,中文形散,而英文句子間邏輯體現分明。因此,翻譯時要把握中文句子的邏輯,并將該邏輯用英文體現出來。在翻譯過程中,要緊密聯系上下文,將原文的結構和意義理解清楚,從而挖掘其所要表達的真正意義。例如,“便于業主管理和環保部門監督檢查”被直譯為“which is convenient for the owner’s management as well as the supervision and inspection by the environmental protection department”,并未體現真實含義及其深層邏輯。實際上,這里的“便于”并不是強調方便之意,而是指“有利于”,具有遞進之意。從這一例子可以看出,如果只是一味翻譯字面意思,那么最終的譯文不僅會邏輯結構混亂,還會不知所云。因此,必須要深入了解原文邏輯,忠實且準確地將其翻譯出來,對于把握不準的地方,可以尋求導師或專業人士的幫助和建議,使譯文更地道、流暢。
其次,對于專有名詞和術語要多方查證,不僅要借助平行文本,還要通過網絡資源找到出處。例如,“多孔式分層取水”中的“多孔”,直譯是“porous”,但經圖片求證以及多方求證,在此處是指“多孔洞”,因此因譯為”multi-holes type power intake with multi-levels“。由此可見,對術語和專有名詞等的翻譯需要慎之又慎。
最后,要注意譯文表達的客觀性和準確性。此次的翻譯材料屬于信息型文本,原文內容客觀真實,注重傳遞水電領域的生態環境工程創新技術。因此在翻譯時,要以目標語讀者為中心,充分考慮讀者的感受和反應,語言必須要通順、簡潔且客觀,力求符合目標語讀者的語言習慣,進行準確翻譯。
