New Program Helps Speed Up Children’s Understanding of Language

新的計劃可以幫助兒童加快對語言的理解

Learning to read provides a foundation for future learning in all areas of study. But reading is more than just sounding out words.Students need to understand what those words mean. And experts say students need to have a working knowledge of 10,000 words.Now, a new vocabulary program claims to greatly speed up a child's understanding of language. The program is called Mrs Wordsmith.

閱讀為所有領域未來學習提供了一個基礎。但閱讀絕不是簡單的大聲朗讀。學生需要明白詞語之間更深的含義。專家告訴大家學生需要熟練應用10000單詞。目前，一個新的詞匯項目聲稱可以大幅加快兒童對語言的理解。該計劃命名為Mrs. Wordsmith.
    The teaching system uses pictures and short word exercises to improve a student’s performance on tests.Sofia Fenichell created the system. She worked with researchers from Cambridge University in Britain to develop the list of words. "We call it the 10,000 word journey and we believe that children can master these words from the age of seven to 17, and then not have to cram.And these words are typically the words they find in the books they read, in newspapers, in adult conversation.

     "We're accelerating their ability to communicate, but also to improve their reading and writing level. ".Each word in the Mrs Wordsmith system of teaching has a child-friendly definition and a picture showing how the word is used.For example, the word shriveled is defined as "wrinkled, like hippo skin that's been the in bath too long.

       There are also exercises to help strengthen the student’s understanding. Fenichell spoke at a recent education technology show in London. She said the Mrs Wordsmith system has been popular in schools across Britain."The teachers are reporting back that the kids love it.

    They want to do more, they're putting it in their writing, they're learning more words and it's so easy to teach them the vocabulary.Little children are using words like: ‘The brazen attitude of the British in World War Two’, and teachers are writing us and saying they can't believe how much their writing has improved. ".

An article titled the founder of mobike cashed out 1.5 billion: your peers are abandoning u is refreshing the screen and has become the hottest poisonous chicken soup among the floods of reports towards Hu Weiwei. Hanhan posted “It not only sells anxiety but create panic” in response to it.

在各種鋪天蓋地的對胡瑋煒的報道中，一篇名為《摩拜創始人套現15億：你的同齡人，正在拋棄你》的文章刷屏，成了這幾天朋友圈里最火的“毒雞湯”。對此韓寒抨擊“這不光販賣焦慮，還制造恐慌！” 

It says: the delicate appearance of Hu Weiwei makes it hard for people to imagine her as a powerful business woman. What are the most 80’s doing nowadays? They either dare not to quit the job after just being promoted as directors with the house loan to pay for and their newly grown back fat in office buildings or get it by with a mediocre tomorrow in third or fourth-tier cities.

文中寫道,看著照片里胡瑋煒柔弱的樣子，你很難想象，這是一位叱咤風云的商業女精英。現在的80后，多數都在做什么？要么在北上廣的寫字樓里，剛剛成為一個總監，小腹上長出贅肉，每月因為房貸不敢辭職。要么在三四線城市里，過著平淡，卻一眼可以看到未來的日子。

Zhao Wei Couples Banned the Stock Market for 5 Years

趙薇夫婦禁入證券市場5年

On April 16th, the Securities Regulatory Commission’s(SRC) website issued an administrative penalty decision (The Culture of the World) and a no entry decision (Kong Deyong, Zhao Wei, Huang Youlong), which include Zhao Wei, Huang Youlong couples and Kong Deyong, the chairman and actual controller of The Culture of the World, take five years of stock market ban measures respectively.

4月16日，證監會網站掛出行政處罰決定書（萬家文化）以及禁入決定書（孔德永、趙薇、黃有龍），對趙薇、黃有龍夫婦以及時任萬家文化董事長、實際控制人孔德永分別采取5年證券市場禁入措施。

Meanwhile, The Culture of the World and Long Wei Media were ordered to make corrections and give warnings. They were fined 600,000 yuan respectively. What’s more, Kong Deyong, Huang Youlong, Zhao Wei, and Zhao Zheng were warned and fined 300,000 yuan respectively. The SRC dismissed the defense arguments of Long Wei Media, Zhao Wei and their agents, and stated that: "After review, I will consider that the facts of the violation in the case are clear and the evidence is sufficient. The parties' arguments cannot be established."

同時，對萬家文化、龍薇傳媒責令改正，給予警告，并分別處以60萬元罰款；對孔德永、黃有龍、趙薇、趙政給予警告，并分別處以30萬元罰款。證監會還針對龍薇傳媒、趙薇夫婦及其代理人申辯理由進行了一一駁回，并寫明：“經復核，我會認為，本案違法事實清楚、證據充分，當事人的上述申辯理由不能成立”。

其中，龍薇傳媒提出不存在信息披露違法情形等，不應予以行政處罰；萬家文化以及孔德永提出萬家文化不是信息披露義務人等三條申辯理由；黃有龍則提出“參與收購的初衷和目的是促進藝術事業和文化產業的長期、協同發展，而不是謀求短期利益”等申辯理由；而趙薇除提出與龍薇傳媒一致的申辯意見外，還提出了沒有參與龍薇傳媒就上交所詢問回復事宜、本人不是上市公司的“董監高”等申辯，認為自己不應被采取市場禁入措施。

Adidas Launches the New Yoga Clothes Which Are Made up of Marine Litter?

阿迪達斯推出新款瑜伽服！竟是由海洋垃圾制成？

As we know that 80 percent global marine litter belongs to plastic, nevertheless, sportswear giant Adidas is making great efforts to reverse disaster, recycling marine plastics to make into new products.

全球80%的海洋垃圾都是塑料類，運動服巨頭阿迪達斯正在努力扭轉災難，回收海洋塑料，做成新的產品。

Cooperating with Wanderlust, a yoga lifestyle brand, and Parley for the Oceans, an environmental initiative, Adidas has released a series of costumes made by recyclable materials.

阿迪達斯和瑜伽生活品牌Wanderlust、環境保護組織Parley for the Oceans合作，發布了用可回收材料制作的一系列服飾。

This series includes crop tops, bomber jackets, leggings, jumpsuits, shorts and gym bags.

Inspiration series from the ocean is patterned, and color palette centers on muted grey, dull black and varying blue.

A Diet Should Include Staple Food

減肥不該減主食

When ordering in a restaurant, one should decide on the staple food or the vegetables first, then add a proper amount of meat and drinks. While we are having the meal, it does not hurt to finish the staple food and vegetables at the same time. Try not to delay the main course to the last minute.

點餐時，應該先點主食或蔬菜，再適量點肉類和飲品。用餐時，不妨主食和菜一起吃，不要用餐快結束了才想起主食。

Speaking of going on a diet, many people immediately choose to forgo the staple food, which in fact is entirely wrong, as multiple risks may be caused by not having staple food for a long period. 

說到減肥，很多人首先想到的就是不吃主食。其實，這種減肥方法大錯特錯，長期缺少主食會有很多風險。

The staple food lies at the bottom of the tower of food, serving as the foundation. If the foundation is missing, then a balanced diet structure is out of the picture. The staple food boasts rich carbohydrates, providing 50%-65% of the total energy, therefore is the most low-cost and vital food resource of the energy that human body needs. 

主食是膳食寶塔的底座，是基礎。如果底座喪失了，也談不上合理的膳食結構。主食含有豐富的碳水化合物，提供總能量的50%-60%，是人體所需能量的最經濟和最重要的食物來源

Living without staple food for a long time directly results in the decrease of blood sugar, causing dizziness, palpitation etc. It can also increase the possibility of numerous chronic diseases. 

長期缺乏主食會直接導致血糖降低，產生頭暈、心悸、精神不集中等問題。間接會增加多種慢性病的風險。

Instead of having staple food, some people choose to eat more meat. Consequently, more grease has been taken in, and the body fat rate will inevitably rise up. 

有些人不吃主食，卻相應地吃了更多肉類。人體攝取油脂多了，體制增加也就難以避免了。
