From April 7th to April 8th, SWPU held the 41st spring trackand field games. There were totally 35 men’s and women’s events this year,including high jump, long jump, shot, 100-meter race, 200-meter race, 400-meterrace, 800- meter race, 110-metre hurdle race, and so on. More than 2000 teachers and students participated in the games, five of whom even broke the record.
Forty-nine international students participated in the march-in ceremony. They come from ten countries including Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and Turkmenistan,etc. More than ten international students participated in the events, including long jump, high jump, shot, 100-meter race, 200-meter race, 400-meter race,800-meter race, etc. Nelson coming from Ghana ranked third in men’s shot put.
