On the morning of January 8th the awarding ceremony of 2017 National Science and Technology Award was held in Beijing. The project “Critical Technologies and Industrialized Application of High-Temperature and High-Pressure Drilling and Completion in the Southern China Sea”, which was completed with the participation of SWPU, was awarded the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award.
This project was led by CNOOC Zhanjiang Branch and SWPU is the 6th institution for it. Zhangzhi, professor of School of Petroleum Engineering, SWPU , is a major participant of the entire development and application process of the project.
