The Sichuan SWPU Educational Development Foundation (SWPUEDF) was initiated and established by Southwest Petroleum University(SWPU) .

Completed registration in a government sector in 2007, the registered capital for SWPUEDF with its own constitution was 2.1 million Yuan. SWPUEDF is a non-profit commonweal organization, aiming at continuous improvement in education and development etc of  SWPU. It has pre-tax deduction qualification and was assessed as a 3A social organization in 2016.
