Mahjong has been named as the sixth international mind sport.
麻將成為第六大國際智力運動
It is reported by Beijing Daily that, Mahjong, a game dates back to Ming Dynasty 500 years ago, has been named as the sixth international mind sport after Chess, Bridge, Draughts, Go and Xiangqi.
據《北京日報》報道，麻將這項起源于500多年前的中國明朝時期的游戲，成為了繼國際象棋、橋牌、國際跳棋、圍棋和象棋之后的第六項國際智力運動。
The decision was announced by the International Mind Sports Association(IMSA) during the Global Mind Sports Innovative and Development Forum which has been held at Beijing. In fact, it was made at its first Executive Board Meeting in April in Copenhagen.
在日前于北京結束的全球智力運動創新發展論壇上，國際智盟宣布了將麻將納入智力運動的決定。而在今年4月于哥本哈根舉行的第一次執行委員會議上，承認麻將國際聯盟作為國際智盟正式成員的決定就已經做出了。
Due to the varied rules around regions, although Mahjong is popular in China, it is hard to popularize it all over the world. So the setting of word-wide competition rules has promoted the development of Mahjong, which is not only follows the trend of standardization but also professionalization in mind sports.
雖然麻將在中國很受歡迎，但是由于各個地方的規則都有所不同，因此很難在全世界對麻將進行推廣。而在全世界范圍內對比賽規則做出制定，促進了麻將運動的發展，順應了體育運動規范化、專業化的發展趨勢。
“Competitive Mahjong will bring new opportunities for the development of mind sports around the world.” Said Jose Damiani, founder and honorary chairman of IMSA，“We will further promote the standardization and hold the competitions by the concepts of fairness, openness, inclusiveness and inheritance.”
國際智盟創始人兼榮譽主席喬斯·達米亞尼說道：“競技麻將將為全世界智力運動的發展帶來新的機遇。我們將在公平、公開、包容、繼承和發展的理念下，進一步促進麻將的標準化、舉辦比賽。”

China’s Alipay cooperates with Thai commercial bank
中國阿里支付與泰國商業銀行合作
China’s Alipay and Thailand’s Kasikorn Bank said on Saturday at Bangkok tourist hotspot Jatujak Market that they will enhance their cooperation in promoting QR code payment in Thailand.
周六，中國阿里支付和泰國泰華農民銀行在泰國旅游熱點地假日市場稱，它們將在促進泰國二維碼支付方面提高合作。
The Thai Bank has already developed a mobile app which supports QR code payment for the Thai market. Chinese tourists can use Alipay app to scan the QR code generated by the Kasikorn app to complete the buying with Thai sellers.
泰國銀行已經為泰國市場開發了一款支持二維碼掃描支付的手機app。中國游客可以使用阿里支付掃描泰華app生成的二維碼來完成泰國商家支付。
During a press conference held inside the market, Pipavin Sodprasert, Thailand country manager for Ant Financial, which operates Alipay, told Xinhua that there are some 20,000 Thai businesses using their service and they aim to provide the convenience of QR Code payment, enjoyed by many Chinese now, to Thais, which is consistent with Thai government’s target of cashless society.
在市場上舉行的新聞發布會上，運營阿里支付的螞蟻金融泰國國家經理Pipavin Sodprasert告訴新華社，有20000項泰國的商業機構在使用它們的服務，它們旨在提供二維碼支付的便利，這被當今的很多中國人享用，對于泰國來說，這和泰國政府的無紙幣化社會目標吻合。
"I have been to China for many times and we hope Chinese tourists can encourage our society to use e-payment," said Patchara Samalapa, senior executive vice president of Kasikorn Bank, adding that Thai customers can also use their app to scan and to pay.
泰華農業銀行高級執行副總裁Patchara Samalapa稱：“我去過中國很多次了，我們希望中國游客可以鼓勵我們的社會使用電子支付。”他補充說道，泰國客戶也可以使用它們的app掃描支付。
The bank said their app is the first one that supports QR Code payment in Thailand and they aim to cover some 200,000 shops around the kingdom by the end of this year.

Smile symbols are usually a good way to express your approval or pleasure. But in the business background, it is clear that this humorous expression symbol is a taboo. In a new study, smiling faces and similar positive emoticons may make others think that your ability is not high and reduce the sharing with your information.
笑臉符號通常是一種很好的表達你的贊同或快樂的方式。但在商務背景中，很明顯，這種詼諧的表情符號是一個禁忌。在一項新研究中，笑臉表情和類似的積極表情符號可能會使其他人認為你的能力不高而減少與你的信息共享。
The researchers said: "Our findings for the first time proved that, contrary to the actual smile, smile symbols will not increase people's sense of warmth, but will reduce the perception of ability." In an experiment, the participants were asked to read a An e-mail sent by an anonymous, work-related, and then assesses the ability and enthusiasm of the anonymous person. Another experiment compares the effects of using smiley symbols, smiles and neutral photos, respectively.

Both experiments have come to the conclusion that face-to-face smile will increase the other side of your ability to affirm, and can feel your enthusiasm, compared to neutral photos, smile better reflect your ability and friendship. But in the e-mail, smile symbols and can not let each other experience your warmth. In fact, it has a negative impact on the perception of competence. Smile symbols will not enhance the sender's friendliness.
兩項實驗都得出結論，面對面的微笑會增加對方對你能力的肯定，并能感受到你的熱情，相比中性照片，微笑更能體現你的能力和友好。但在電子郵件中，笑臉符號并不能讓對方體會到你的溫暖。事實上，它對能力的感知有負面影響。笑臉符號也不會提升發件人的友好程度。
