一、學校簡介 About us
西南石油大學是新中國創建的第二所石油本科院校，是一所中央與地方共建、以四川省人民政府管理為主的高等學校。2013年，學校入選“國家中西部高校基礎能力建設工程”，成為入選該工程的100所高校之一。石油與天然氣工程學科連續兩輪入選國家一流學科，全國學科評估連續獲評A+（省屬高校唯一）。我校石油與天然氣工程學科形成“油氣并舉、氣為特色”并在全國乃至全球學科覆蓋最廣、研究方向最完整的學科格局，石油與天然氣工程及其配套學科水平較高，工程學、化學、材料學、地球科學進入ESI全球前1%。
Founded in 1958, Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU) is co-built by central and local governments and is administered mainly by Sichuan Provincial Government. It is the second petroleum university since the establishment of P.R. China. In 2013, SWPU was selected into the “National Central and Western Universities Basic Capacity Construction Project” and became one of the 100 universities in the project. Petroleum and natural gas engineering has been selected as the national first-class discipline for two consecutive rounds, and has been rated as A+ discipline in the national discipline assessment (the only provincial university). Now it has formed the discipline development pattern of “co-developing oil and gas, with gas being featured”, making the broadest discipline coverage and the most complete research directions across China and even around the world. Engineering, chemistry, materials science and geo-science are among the top 1% of ESI in the world.
經過60多年的建設，學校現已發展成為一所以工為主、多學科協調發展、石油天然氣優勢突出和特色鮮明的大學，石油主干學科專業在全國處于領先水平。
Over 60 years of construction, SWPU has grown into a multi-disciplinary university focusing on engineering, with advantage in oil and gas discipline that ranks the top in China.
學校現有15個教學學院（部）、1個工程訓練中心。學科專業涵蓋理學、工學、管理學、經濟學、文學、法學、教育學、藝術學8個學科門類。本科具有招生資格專業79個，碩士研究生招生專業56個，博士研究生招生專業8個。
SWPU is composed of 15 schools and 1 engineering training center, covering 8 discipline fields: science, engineering, management, economics, literature, law, education and art. 79 undergraduate majors,56 master majors and 8 doctoral majors have admission qualifications.
學校現有全日制在校學生40801人，其中普通本科生31242人，碩士研究生8016人，博士研究生1067人，外國留學生522人。現有教職工2753人，有正高級專業技術職務人員382人，副高級專業技術職務人員721人。其中，中國工程院院士1人，德國工程院院士1人。
Currently, there are 40,801 full-time students, including 31,242 undergraduates, 8,016 master students, 1,067 doctoral students and 522 international students. There are 2,753 faculty and staff members, including 1 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 1 academicians of German Academy of Engineering, 382 full-time professors, 721 associate professors.
學校重視國際交流與合作，已與美、俄、英、德、日、法、加等10多個國家和地區的高等院校和相關學術研究機構建立了密切的交流與合作關系。
SWPU has always attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation. Various international joint projects and programs have been conducted between SWPU and educational institutions from different countries, such as America, Russia, England, Germany, Japan, France, Canada, etc.

1. 年齡在40周歲以下的非中國籍公民身體健康，愿意遵守中國的法律、法規、遵守西南石油大學的規章制度、尊重中國人的風俗習慣、遵守社會公德者；Non-Chinese citizens under the age of 40 who are in good health and willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations, Southwest Petroleum University rules and regulations, respect Chinese customs, and abide by social ethics; 2. 原則上護照有效期須3年以上；Passport validity shall be more than 3 years; 3. 碩士研究生和本科學歷證書及成績單（非英語材料需提供經過認證的漢/英語翻譯件）；Master and PhD degree certificate and transcripts (Certified Chinese or English translations are required for non-English materials); 4. 漢語或英語水平證明（托福、雅思或前一階段英文成績證明）；English or Chinese proficiency certificate （HSK certificate or IELTS, TOFEL or certificate of English level of previous degree); 5. 研究計劃（中/英文，至少1500字）；Research Plan (Chinese/English, at least 1500 words); 6. 兩封推薦信（推薦人需具有教授或副教授職稱）；2 Recommendation Letters (Referrers should have title of professor or associate professor); 7. 近三個月內出具的《無犯罪記錄證明》；NO Criminal Record (validity shall be within 3months); 8. 《資金證明》（由當地銀行開具）；Financial Guarantee (Offered by the bank); 9. 《外國人體格檢查表》（6個月以內）；Physical Examination Record for Foreigner; 10. 其他輔助材料，如發表論文等。Other supporting materials, such as published paper, etc. |

七、申請及錄取流程Application and Admission Procedure
第一步：網上申請
申請者登錄西南石油大學國際學生在線服務系統，注冊賬號、在線填報、提交申請。
Step 1 Online Application
Applicants can log in the Online Service System for International Students of Southwest Petroleum University, and register an account and fill in online forms and submit the applications. https://swpu.17gz.org/
第二步：審核材料 確認錄取
收到學生申請后，西南石油大學將審核申請者材料，確認錄取名單，將辦理《錄取通知書》和《外國留學人員來華確認表》（JW202表）。
Step 2 Documents reviewing and admission confirmation
After reviewing of application materials in accordance with the provisions of the university, successful applicants will be issued Admission Notice and Confirmation Form for Study in China (the JW202 Form).
第三步：申請來華學習簽證
被錄取學生憑學校出具的電子版《錄取通知書》到中國駐外簽證機關申請學習類簽證。
Step 3 Application for Study Visa to China
Successful applicants can apply for a study visa at the Chinese visa agencies stationed abroad with an electronic version of the Admission Notice issued by the university.
八、入學報到Registration
入學報到注冊方式及報到時間以學校發放的錄取通知書為準。
The specific time and approach of registration shall be based on the Admission Notice.
