On the morning of October 25th, Southwest Petroleum University held a donation ceremony with Sichuan Wewodon Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wewodon"). The company donated￥2 million to SWPU. Wewodon Chairman He Wei and SWPU President Guo Jianchun attended the donation ceremony. As of now, Wewodon has donated over￥4 million to SWPU.
Guo Jianchun expressed gratitude to Wewodon for her long-term support for the construction and development of Southwest Petroleum University. He stated that Wewodon has been making through in oil and gas technology innovation, as well as enhanced the service ability of increasing oil and gas production, achieving gratifying results. Moreover, close cooperation has been established between SWPU and Wewodon in the fields of scientific research, talent cultivation, and public welfare and charity, which greatly promotes bilateral development. President Guo Jianchun hoped that Wewodon and Southwest Petroleum University can strengthen cooperation in education and teaching, oil and gas exploration and development technology innovation so as to provide more wisdom and strength side by side to promote high-quality development of the national oil and gas industry and to ensure national energy security.
He Wei stated that Wewodon is an enterprise undertaking social responsibility, and he firmly believes that supporting education is also for the development of the industry itself. He hoped that both sides can further expand exchanges in production and research based on the previous cooperation, and Wewodon is dedicated to helping more students grow, and ready to promote stable and win-win development for both sides.
