In April 19-22, the 4thNational Contest of Well Logging Skills for College Students was held in Wuhan. SWPU team won the second place in the overall score.
Participants are from 12 universities, including China University of Petroleum, Jilin University, China University of Geosciences and so on.
The contest was held in three parts, i.e. well logging operations, well logging theory competition and defense.In the defense part, our team took overwhelming advantages over other teams, won appraise from judges with their calm and excellent performance and was awarded the the first prize setting a new record of our university in this event.
The contest was hosted by China Petroleum Society and organized by Yangtze University. Professor Wang Dawei said after the contest, “The contest will welcome universities outside China in the future, and develop into an international event.” (Author: Huang Linlin)
