On December 6th, the 5-day Sichuan Red Cross First Aid Training (Southwest Petroleum University Special Session) concluded. After assessment, 22 SWPU faculty members obtained the Red Cross Qualification Certificate of First Aid Trainer.
Sichuan Red Cross First Aid Center adheres strictly to the requirements of the First Aid Training of Red Cross Society of China, and insists on standardized training. The training includes theoretical lectures, demonstrations, simulated operations, on-site comments, group discussions, and trial teaching, SWPU faculty members thereby learned the Red Cross movement, acquired an overview of first aid, and practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and trauma rescue.
Song Yao, Director of Sichuan Red Cross First Aid Center, lauded SWPU faculty members for their high enthusiasm, a positive atmosphere, and solid skills. She hoped the trainees review the course and keep practicing so as to enhance their first aid skills and teaching proficiency. （by Shu Lin）
