On the night of December 1st, the last game of the 25thSports Festival of SWPU was held at the Stadium. Then, all competitions in this sports festival had completed. The closing ceremony was held after then.
The sports festival opened on October 31stand lasted for more than one month. The games in this year’s festival included long-distance running around the campus, rope skipping, tug of war, Chinese chess, Five in a Row, fun sports, aerobics, sports dance, etc.
The sports dance competition is the most exciting game in this sports festival, with teams from 14 colleges participating. The School of Arts, the School of Foreign Languages and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering won the first prize. The School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, the School of Geosciences and Technology, the School of Science and the School of Economics and Management won the second prize. The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and five other schools won the third prize.
