In October 18-20, the 2019 (4th) Sichuan College Student Robotic Competition was held in SWPU. 1000 Students in 216 teams from 34 higher institutions, including Sichuan University, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Southwest Minzu University, Xihua University and Sichuan Normal University, participated in the competition. Chengdu Technological University won the champion. Our university and Chengdu University of Technology won the runner-up and third place, respectively.

The competition was sponsored by Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and organized by SWPU.
Sichuan College Student Robotic Competition aims at training students' abilities in the use of knowledge and in engineering practices, as well as enhancing their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. The competition has been held 4 times since 2016. (Luo Ya, Zeng Yahui)
