Yan Jiantao has successively worked at IHS/Cambridge Energy Research Associates, Goldman Sachs Group Investment Bank (Chief Petroleum and Gas Analyst in China), British Petroleum (Chief Officer of Policy, Industry and Regulatory Affairs in China). He is currently a visiting professor at the University of International Business and Economics and a researcher at the International Energy Strategy Research Center of Renmin University of China.
