劉明潔，男，漢族，中共黨員，博士，副教授。主要從事致密砂巖儲層、油氣成藏與富集、碳酸鹽巖儲層的研究工作，以及石油地質學的教學工作。主持國家自然科學基金2項、中國博士后科學基金1項、四川省教育廳重點項目1項、油田協作項目5項，主研國家科技重大專項3項、油田協作項目10余項。以第一作者或通訊作者在《Marine and Petroleum Geology》、《Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering》、《Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)》、《石油勘探與開發》、《地質論評》、《地質科學》、《沉積學報》、《古地理學報》等期刊發表論文17篇，其中SCI論文8篇。獲2020年中國石油和化工自動化應用協會科技進步一等獎，以第二作者出版專著《地層孔隙動力學》并獲2016年中國石油和化學工業優秀出版物獎·圖書獎二等獎，合著教材《油氣地質與勘探概論》。《非常規油氣》編委，《AAPG Bulletin》、《Marine and Petroleum Geology》、《Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering》、《Petroleum Science》、《Journal of Asian Earth Sciences》、《Energy Exploration & Exploitation》、《Petroleum Science and Technology》、《Petroleum》、《沉積學報》、《地質與勘探》、《西南石油大學學報》、《地球科學與環境學報》等期刊審稿人，國家自然科學基金評審專家，《沉積學報》非常規油氣沉積學專輯、第七屆全國沉積學大會專題召集人。

研究領域 |
||
一、 油氣儲層地質學 近年來主要針對四川盆地三疊系須家河組、侏羅系沙溪廟組、鄂爾多斯盆地中元古界長城系、奧陶系馬家溝組、二疊系太原組和三疊系延長組等含油氣儲層，從成巖體系演化的角度，開展流體-巖石相互作用機制的研究，重點針對深層致密砂巖和碳酸鹽巖成儲機理進行研究。 二、 油氣成藏機理與富集規律 近年來主要針對四川盆地三疊系須家河組和侏羅系沙溪廟組，開展涉及地層劃分與對比、沉積相展布與演化、儲層形成機理與分布預測、油氣生成與運聚、井位目標評價與優選等方面的研究，重點針對致密砂巖油氣成藏與富集進行石油地質綜合研究。
