第三屆冰凍圈科學(xué)青年論壇
（一號通知）
一、會議簡介
冰凍圈科學(xué)青年論壇是由中國冰凍圈科學(xué)學(xué)會青年工作委員會主辦的青年學(xué)者創(chuàng)新和交流平臺，旨在通過學(xué)術(shù)交流為冰凍圈科學(xué)青年學(xué)者拓寬研究視野、追蹤前沿動態(tài)、實現(xiàn)學(xué)科交叉融合創(chuàng)新，已先后在蘭州（2021）、北京（2023）成功舉辦兩屆。結(jié)合前兩屆會議成功經(jīng)驗，由冰凍圈科學(xué)學(xué)會（籌）青年工作委員會主辦，西南石油大學(xué)承辦，四川大學(xué)、西南交通大學(xué)、四川農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)、中國科學(xué)院成都山地災(zāi)害與環(huán)境研究所、重慶交通大學(xué)省部共建山區(qū)橋梁及隧道工程國家重點實驗室、中國科學(xué)院西北生態(tài)環(huán)境資源研究院等單位共同協(xié)辦的第三屆冰凍圈科學(xué)青年論壇擬2024年4月13日-14日在四川成都召開。熱烈邀請在冰凍圈過程與變化、冰凍圈災(zāi)害、寒區(qū)工程建設(shè)以及寒區(qū)資源開發(fā)等領(lǐng)域從事冰凍圈科學(xué)研究和工程實踐的年輕學(xué)者踴躍撰稿、參加會議。

會議主題：
冰凍圈科學(xué)、工程與可持續(xù)發(fā)展
大會將圍繞“冰凍圈科學(xué)、工程與可持續(xù)發(fā)展”設(shè)置8個左右專題（每個專題設(shè)召集人5-7名，聯(lián)系人1名）。
本次會議還將組織研究生專場報告，并為優(yōu)秀的學(xué)術(shù)報告頒發(fā)獲獎證書，以資鼓勵。歡迎青年研究生報名參加專場活動。

Topic and Scope of the Collection:
This special collection focuses on disaster prevention and mitigation, long-term stability, and structure-environment interaction for various engineering infrastructure construction in cold regions. Under global warming, also with the increasing human activities and infrastructure construction in cold regions, geotechnical engineering damages caused by permafrost degradation have become increasingly severe, which poses great threats to the safety and long-term stability of infrastructures in permafrost regions.
This collection invites original research and review articles addressing the latest countermeasures against embankment settlement, pile foundation failure, pipeline instability, and other engineering damages related to permafrost changes. Both field monitoring studies and numerical simulations are welcome. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Physics and mechanics of frozen soil
- Soil improvement and reinforcement techniques
- Cooling and thermal stabilization technologies for engineering
- Engineering disaster prevention and mitigation
- Structure-environment interaction in cold regions
- Polar engineering and environment
Submissions from various engineering disciplines will be considered, including civil, environmental, mechanical, pipeline, and geological engineering. This collection provides a platform for scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas and experiences in preventing disasters and maintaining the sustainable development of engineering in cold regions.
