報 告 人:Wilson C. Chin(陳偉信)earned his Ph.D. from M.I.T. and M.Sc. from Caltech in fluid mechanics, physics and applied math. His interests include rheology, MWD, formation testing, electromagnetics and reservoir engineering. He has published over twenty books with John Wiley & Sons and Elsevier Science, authored about one hundred papers and four dozen patents, and is recipient of five national awards from the United States Department of Energy.
Dr. Chin’s company Stratamagnetic Software, LLC (please visit www.stratamagnetic.com), for example, designed Halliburton’s “iCem” and “Displace 3D” cementing software, its “GeoTap” real-time permeability prediction formation testing software, and Schlumberger’s and BakerHughes’ MWD “mud sirens.” Mr. Chin has worked extensively with Chinese companies. At Sinopec and CNPC, he supervised MWD “long wind tunnel” and “siren” development. He is also responsible for COSL’s formation testing algorithms, for real-time downhole permeability prediction.

報告一:針對大斜度井和水平井中高速MWD遙測面臨的脈沖波衰減、渦輪葉片侵蝕、聲波混響和反射干擾問題,介紹脈沖器設計、風洞模擬和抗干擾反射信號處理方面的最新進展。
報告二:針對非均質、各向異性地層多孔介質特性表征,在回顧傳統地層測試技術的基礎上,介紹一種新型多探頭地層測試儀器,即在每個方位探頭上記錄“壓力與時間”曲線,其中探頭的數量從2到12,每一個都獨立運行,具有不同的流量、噴嘴幾何形狀、啟停時間,這些壓力波形包含滲透率、各向異性、壓縮性、孔隙度和孔隙壓力等信息,通過反演可以得到多孔介質的相關特性。
