報告題目:Proppant transport equations and their application for hydraulic fracturing in multilayered reservoirs

報告內容:In this talk we first introduce a kinematical proppant transport model for spherical suspensions in hydraulic fractures developed by Dontsov and Peirce (J. Fluid Mech., vol. 760, 2014, pp. 567-590.). Next, a pseudo-3D hydraulic fracture simulator for multilayered rocks, to capture proppant transport mechanism, is developed. For pressure-driven proppant transport, the bridges made of compact proppant particles can lead to both proppant distribution discontinuity, and higher treating pressure. The model is applied to growth of a fracture from a vertical well, which covers many thin-bedded intervals and more than one opened hydraulic fractured interval. The numerical examples demonstrate that a loss of vertical connectivity can occur among multiple fracture sections, and proppant particles are transported along the more compliant layers, leaving the layers targeted to be untapped. This talk intends to illustrate hydraulic fracturing treatments with proppant transport being affected by and interacting with reservoir lithological complexities.
報 告 人:張浠,中國地質大學(武漢)工程學院教授,博士生導師。2000年以來長期從事水力壓裂裂紋擴展機理實驗和數值模擬方面的研究,注重數值模型在非常規油氣儲層改造和礦山開采方面的應用,在水力壓裂裂紋與天然裂紋相互作用,多個水力壓裂裂紋同時擴展,井筒附近的水力壓裂裂紋擴展,和水力壓裂引起的微震震源力學分析等方面做出了一定的成績。主持過各類科技項目,共發表學術論文70多篇,包括JGR-Solid Earth,EPSL,SPEJ等刊物。
