為迎接2015年第21屆聯合國氣候變化大會，英國皇家化學學會精選一批近年來在大氣化學／應用化學、地球科學、環境科學等領域最前沿的研究論文，出版“Chemistry in Climate Change" 論文集。我室羅平亞院士、張雷教授等2014年在英國皇家化學學會期刊RSC Advances發表的研究論文“Theoretical investigation of vibrational relaxation of highly excited O3 in collisions with HO2”入選該論文集。
國際著名化學家Susan Solomon教授（美國科學院院士、歐洲科學院院士、2008年美國時代周刊評出的全球100名最具影響力人物）在該論文集序言中寫道“In the lead up to the UN climate change conference in Paris in late 2015, it is timely to consider the importance of chemistry in climate science. This collection showcases the essential contributions of chemical science to understanding climate change. As the world weighs mitigation and adaptation options, chemists will be part of the search for solutions.”
該入選論文受四川省國際科技合作與交流項目、四川省杰出青年學術技術帶頭人后續計劃、“油氣藏地質及開發工程”國家重點實驗室基金資助。
