報(bào)告人介紹:
Dr. Sahar Bakhshianis a Associate Professor at Jackson School of Geosciences, The University of Texas at Austin. Her primary research involves analytical and computational modeling of multi-physics problems and applying data science to address issues in energy and environmental contexts, with a particular focus on geologic carbon storage. Sahar has served as PI and co-PI of different research projects including CO2storage feasibility and capacity estimation of Wilcox formations, CO2leakage risk assessment, and long-term monitoring of plugged and abandoned wells in CO2geologic formations. Sahar holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, awarded in 2018.
